The concept behind EYE TV is to provide quality entertainment programming, with a predominant focus on females. With the rapidly changing media scenario in Paksitan, the time was ripe for the setup of a new television channel in Pakistan. The chairperson of HUMTV is Sultana Siddiqui.

Hum Television has seperate channels to cater different types of people which includes the entertainment channel Hum, Fashion channel Style 360 and cooking channel Masala.
