Many of us living in the moment feel that our high school friendships and relationships will last forever and we will always have the same friends till the day our souls depart from this world. Yes, there are some lucky ones whose friendship has lasted over decades. They are the lucky ones. Sadly life is not that convenient for everyone and it is definitely not a bed of roses.
When reality starts to kick in, we realize that many people come into our lives and then they make an exit, but regardless of that, life goes on. We should never be dependent on someone’s support or assistance because truth is its every person for him/herself and it really is a dog eat dog world!
There will be many people in your life who will tell you that they’ll be there for you whenever you need them, but when it actually comes down to that point and you need a shoulder to cry on, most of them will just disappear or come up with the perfect excuse for being unable to show up. The actual reason for them not showing up is really just because they are least bothered about what you may be going through and don’t want to be a part of your emotional break down because they would rather spend that time doing something else that pleases them.
Sometimes there are little things that accumulate and turn into a big and monstrous issue and the situation ends up going out of hand. The only way to counter that is to keep expressing how you feel from time to time so that anger does not build up leading to a horrific outburst. Your anger may turn out to be your worst enemy!
Then there are times when a third person is usually the culprit for all the misunderstandings that are caused between two people or a group, usually by the ones who love drama and gossip. They are always looking for a way to get people to fight, they twist and turn stories and pass on manipulated messages causing a really big misunderstanding which at times becomes permanent and irreversible.
To avoid this from happening, if you are having a problem with someone then DO NOT involve a third person at any cost and sort it out with them yourself. If you do not wish to, then you had better leave things than getting the wrong people involved making things much worse. Be careful about whom you call your friend and who you chose as your secret keeper because many will look for the slightest excuse to make your life a living hell.
May god bless everyone with good company and sincere friends. We must be very careful of whom we bestow our trust upon because most of the people are really not worthy of it. When the time comes you will realize who your true friends are so just wait for it and keep on your high alert. Those who care will be there for you no matter what and those who don’t will eventually walk out of your life, leaving you devastated at first but that too makes you a stronger person and gives you the courage to deal with whatever life throws your way.
Have you ever been through betrayal and deceit from a friend or a loved one? Did their exit in your life make you stronger or weaker? Would you rather keep lots of disloyal friends or one or two sincere ones?
