“Magnetic Boy” Attracts Attention in Brazil

Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil: Paulo David Amorim can have spoons, scissors and even casserole pots stuck to his body, according to footage shown on TV Globo.

Amorim’s father claimed he discovered his son’s unique ability when he asked him to bring him a knife and fork “and much to my surprise, they stuck”.

His classmates have named him “Magnet Boy”.  They also ask him to demonstrate his “powers” with objects in class, reports Sky News.

“In school, everyone asks me to put things on my body, they think it is a trick,” he said.

Doctor Dix-Sept Rosado Sobrinho said that he had never witnessed anything like Paulo David’s case in his 30 years in medicine.

The good news is that the doctor says the boy’s health is safe and is not at any risk.

“We can see that there is a certain adhesiveness, that he does manage to make several objects stick to his body, some of which are pretty heavy, but it is not completely out of the ordinary,” he said.
