Moshe Katsav

Tuesday 22nd of March, an Israeli court in Jerusalem sentenced former president Moshe Katsav seven years of imprisonment for rape.  The ex-president claims himself of being innocent.  He burst into tears upon hearing the court’s decision and shouted at the judges saying that they had made a mistake.  He has been found guilty for raping a female employee and harassing two others while he was still president.

Katsav wants to fight for his innocence because he says that the accusations are false.
