How often have you seen couples expressing public displays of affection in your presence? It has become an uncontrolled trend especially among the youngsters of today’s generation. Why has the youth forgotten how to maintain public decorum and act respectably in the presence of other people?

An incident had been highlighted where a couple was seen sharing moments of intimacy in a children’s amusement park in Karachi. The burka clad woman was seen sharing a kiss with her partner on board one of the rides through her veil. What is wrong with people today? What kind of an example are they setting for little children? Why don’t they carry on with such behavior in privacy rather than publicly?

Often at cafes youngsters are seen openly mingling and getting a little too clingy with their partners which is a major violation of public decorum. Not only at café’s but at movie theatres and other public places as well which makes them the public spectacle, and the centre of attention and criticism. Why can’t people avoid such inappropriate behavior when they know they are being watched and disapproved of by so many others around them?

Often parents take their little kids out to restaurants, cafes, parks and other such public places for family outings. When such places are being infested with highly corrupt and intolerable behavior where should families go to relax and have a good time without being surrounded by couples sharing intimate moments in front of their little children?

Couples everywhere, married or unmarried, sometimes are highly inconsiderate of other people. Not everyone wants to witness such intimate moments of other people especially in front of their families or little children. It creates a very awkward situation making other people highly uncomfortable.

This also goes for parents who feel it is okay to behave however they want to in front of their children. What they do not realize is their children learn things from them. Parents should also maintain certain decorum at home in the presence of  their children. They should also teach their kids the difference between intimacy before and after marriage.
