Description: Numerous incidents occur in Pakistan where people torture women, kids, men, abuse them and even kill them. These people are helped by organizations; they’re given shelter, food and trainings as well.
Mr. Sarim Burney, Chairman of Sarim Burney Welfare Trust, is one of Pakistan’s leading human rights activists. With a mission to work as a non-political, non-governmental and non-profitable organization, the trust started its fight against all forms of torture, cruel inhuman or degrading treatment, child abuse, cruelty to women and other more subtle forms of violent repression or human and civil rights violations. He believes that every misery in someone’s life brings upon a happy time and it is for his or hers own benefit.
