Peace and stability need to be restored to Karachi and to the rest of Pakistan. The country cannot afford another Martial Law. So what are our other options?

I believe we can prove ourselves capable of running Pakistan in a truly democratic way. Our leaders need to possess determination, initiative, vision and integrity, and have the best national interests at heart. The Pakistani people need a wake up call to understand that they hold the power to elect such people as their leaders. It’s about time they wielded it properly. A fair democratic system works in other countries and I believe can also work in Pakistan

Pakistan needs transformational leadership. It is essential to appoint a leader who can not merely implement policies but who is able to take initiative, understand the demands of the 21st century and lead us forward.

Understanding the needs of our country and realizing our responsibilities is paramount if we are to find the best team to fulfill those needs. It will subsequently be imperative to support the team in the best way in order to achieve set goals.

Rather than continually complaining about the sad state of things, we must stop being emotionally blackmailed, or worse be indifferent  to the process. Things will change for the better once we change our own way of thinking.
